Exavier Pope to be Keynote Speaker for Illinois Department of Children and Family Services 2015 Regional Youth Summits Statewide

ILLINOIS STATEWIDE – The ability to put himself in the shoes of others is one of the God given gifts of Exavier Pope, whether speaking to Fortune 500 Corporate executives, preaching a sermon at a church, appearing on television, or talking with fans after an autograph session. No place does an audience need a speaker to see him or herself in its shoes are individuals who are wards of the state.

Exavier will be the keynote speaker at 3 out of 4 Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) Regional Youth Summits taking place all over the State of Illinois June 19th, 25th, and finally on the 26th. The theme of this year’s Youth Summits is: “MISSION POSSIBLE”.

Each Youth Summit will consist of a variety of day long activities for DCFS involved youth14 through 21 years of age, including games, food, prizes, recognizing any graduates, college fairs, and life skill workshops. Exavier will kick off each summit with a powerful speech to ignite the flame in all attending.

DCFS Youth Summit Details:

Friday, June 19, 2015, 9am-3:30pm: Northern District Youth Summit, Kishwaukee Community College, Malta, Illinois

Thursday, June 25, 2015, 9am-3:30pm: Cook District Youth Summit, Northeastern Illinois University, Chicago, Illinois

Friday, June 26, 2015, 9am-3:30pm: Central District Youth Summit, Bone Center, Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois

Illinois Department of Children and Family Services Regional Youth Summits are open to DCFS employees and DCFS involved youth ages 14 to 21.
