President Barack Obama weighed in Colin Kaepernick’s ongoing protest of the US national anthem at the G20 Summit in Hangzhou, China on Labor Day supporting  the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback’s “constitutional right to make a statement.”

#BestDressedManOnTV joined BBC News to discuss the Commander in Chief’s response and it’s implications for race relations moving forward.

“The goal of protest is what our nation was founded on,” Pope explained to program host Mike Embley.
